Do you have a passion to make an impact and invest in the lives of women and/or men in our community? Do you desire to put your faith into action? Do you have a few hours or more throughout the month to volunteer? Are you a man who desires to invest in seeing the father become the daddy? Are you a woman who cares about both the child and the mother?
If you answered yes to these questions, the Hope Clinic may be the place for you!
What does a Hope Clinic Volunteer do?
Volunteer/ Client Advocates interact with clients through peer coaching and mentoring. Women advocates assist nurses during pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and STI screenings. Male advocates mentor dads and dads-to-be. All Client Advocates assist clients with the material assistance program, and help with stuffing envelopes, stocking shelves, and many other office tasks.
How do I become a volunteer?
Contact our Advocate Coordinator, Gidget Reyes, who will discuss becoming a volunteer with you. She will mail you a volunteer application along with information about our training sessions. Once you complete the volunteer training, you will schedule the days and times you want to volunteer. We are very flexible and want you to schedule time that works best with your calendar. Licensed Nurses are also needed to care for clients. This volunteer experience is a great way to use your nursing knowledge and skills.
