But, this is for them to do, not for you to try and fix. Quit wasting the energy God gave you on someone who doesn’t want to change their life. They need to be ready. None of us can ever tell an addict or substance abuser to be ready.

I was tired and exhausted from trying to keep up. I was tired of the life he kept wanting to live. He would say the most degrading things to me.
A Few Things I Have Learned
That space between your neck and shoulder was specifically designed for a baby’s head to rest…a kiss always makes a boo boo feel better…macaroni and cheese is a completely acceptable dinner…love at first sight is real…and lastly, motherhood is HARD.
So this Valentine’s Day, celebrate the gift of love and that special someone in your life. Get dressed up, buy a fun card, and go on a date. Just remember to not place so many expectations on that one night. He may not buy you a card or get you flowers. Is it really that big of a deal?
