Planning for the Unplanned
I was scared I wouldn’t love this baby. I didn’t know how I would take care of my baby at home when I was sick with the one growing inside me. I was 100% panicking.
A Few Things I Have Learned
That space between your neck and shoulder was specifically designed for a baby’s head to rest…a kiss always makes a boo boo feel better…macaroni and cheese is a completely acceptable dinner…love at first sight is real…and lastly, motherhood is HARD.
Have you had Enough?
Let’s all refocus today on what is important. Let’s really take a close look at our parenting choices and see if we chose them because they are best for our family, or because we are afraid of what other people will think.
Adding Another Child
When we found out that I was pregnant with our third child, we were so excited. Yet, we wondered how our kids would react. Would they welcome this baby?

Frequent phone calls and frequent trips to the hospital were exhausting, but we wanted to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to provide for the safety and well being of our child!

The UNEXPECTED soon became rather routine: feeding, changing diapers, checking the monitor, feeding again…somehow finding time to sleep (but never soundly!)
