Former Board Member
"We have been involved with the HC for many years, first as prayer and donor supporters and then later as a board member for 9 years. I became a board member after Kelly Amstutz twisted my arm. If anyone has ever had their arm twisted by Kelly, you will understand where I am coming from.Being on the Board was one of the greatest privileges of my life. I cannot begin to tell you how many times we saw God moving through HC. There were so many times that it just felt that God was in the meetings and working through the HC and its clients. So many miracles occurred during my time on the Board that I can’t possibly list them all. It just gives me goosebumps to think of the amazing work that God did – and is doing – through the HC.God is definitely using the HC to reach those in need in our community."
Jim and JoAnn Heimann
"We have always felt passionate about supporting and praying for the Hope Clinic and the good that they do. The number of broken hearts they have touched and the countless number of innocent lives that may have been spared because of the work of the Hope Clinic is proof to us that this ministry must continue. The Hope Clinic is truly a blessing to our community."
"When I found out I was pregnant with my first child, I was single, scared, and alone. I wondered how I would take care of my child. Would I be a good mom? When I went to the Hope Clinic, I felt hope for the first time. The staff members were very nice. They even prayed with me when I found out I was pregnant. I no longer felt alone. I was able to earn Baby Bucks and buy items for my baby. I would recommend the Hope Clinic to any woman who is pregnant or is questioning how she will take care of her child."
"When I first came to the Hope Clinic, I was 19 and had no idea how I was going to be able to take care of a baby. The staff and volunteers were professional, nice, and understanding. They were not judgmental. Their support and programs helped prepare me to be a mom. The Hope Clinic is a great place, and I am thankful for all that they have done for me."
"I was pregnant at a young age and trying to graduate from high school when I came to the Hope Clinic. The ladies treated me very well and made me feel at home. In fact, sometimes I really do feel more at home at the Hope Clinic than in my own home! I am grateful for all the programs and the help I received. The Hope Clinic is an extremely helpful place!"
"The staff is great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I like everything especially the Baby Bucks program. It really helps! The Hope Clinic has helped me so much over the last 4 years. I would refer all my friends. They are helpful people who are genuine and want to help. Also being able to get what we needed for our son. I also liked seeing the ultrasound of my daughter and talking to Mary Carol and everyone else. They are very nice and understanding."
" I only wish I could use the services longer! My son is now too old to use the many services here."
"The ladies are always very caring and informative. If I was to get pregnant again, I would defintely come back as I did with my first one. My test and positive result helped me to get medical coverage to see a doctor and obtain health insurance."
Jeff & Leena
"Jeff & Leena share their story and how The Hope Clinic was able to be a part of it."
"When I came to the Hope Clinic I was alone…pregnant…basically homeless and hanging on by a thread. I was between homes. I was at a loss with the father of the baby and sad. I was trying to keep a smile on my face and push through after having just went through a miscarriage. The due date of the new baby was the same date. When I walked through the doors of the Hope Clinic there was hope! There was a sense of love and encouragement. I felt an instant relief of fear upon seeing the faces of the women there helping. They treated me like I was a close family member they’d known their whole lives. They were like a best friend showing love and compassion. The most help was the prayer, the positive thoughts, the listening ears and the kind motivation and words. I was able to get help when money was tight. I was able to earn things as well so in the end I felt great about myself.I want people to know that there is always hope and somewhere to turn. Although not everything is perfect, things are looking up and I have more self-confidence and a healthy beautiful baby boy to go with my six year old son"
"Don’t let fear of what other people may say about you stop you from going to The Hope Clinic. For people that don’t have a good support system, this is a great place for you to go. You have so many options and so much information right at your fingertips."
"The first thing I noticed when walking into The Hope Clinic was how much nicer and more welcoming it felt when Planned Parenthood, which is where I got my pregnancy test for my first son."
"I felt hope the first day that I went into the clinic. The staff was so nice. They even prayed with me when I found out I was pregnant! I didn’t feel alone. "
"When times were rough, The Hope Clinic helped me to overcome my weakness. They prayed with me when times were both bad and good. This gave me the courage to become stronger."
"I was 16 years old, pregnant, and trying to figure out how to support a baby on little to no income. When I walked through the doors of The Hope Clinic, I didn’t feel judged. The place really did give me hope. The staff and volunteers were all so kind. They asked about my family every time I came in and actually cared about us."
"If I could tell people about The Hope Clinic, I would tell them that anything you need they are there for you. I have learned so much and I would definitely recommend them to you! When I first came in, I was at the bottom. I am now getting married in a few weeks and enjoying my life."
